Supporting the Volunteers In Medicine Clinic
On Saturday, January 26, 2008, The Friends of Volunteers in Medicine Clinic will be holding their 8th Annual Black-Tie Gala at Mariner Sands Country Club in Stuart, FL. Our guests will begin the evening with a special cocktail/La Poire VIM-Tini and hors d’oeuvre hour, followed by dinner, dancing, a very special presentation with Cabaret-Le Dance Can Can dancers, a live and silent auction and raffle. Tickets are $300 per person and proceeds of the event will be used for operational expenses supporting the patients of the VIM Clinic. We are in our 12th year of providing a one-of-a kind community service. Our patients are some of the “working poor” of our community, who without the help of the Clinic would go without basic healthcare needs. They do not have private insurance and are not eligible for any government program that provides healthcare service, and are below the poverty income level. Our staff is comprised of physicians, nurses, medical and lay personnel who donate their expertise, time and services. The VIM Clinic needs your help in providing sponsorship, underwriting and in-kind donations to support this event and the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic. With your help you can be a part of this important evening and make it possible for the future care of those who need proper healthcare in our community. If you would like your name/company listed in the invitation, the deadline to submit your confirmation form is November 1, 2007. This can be mailed or faxed to our office.
