Staff OverviewIn addition to the awesome 100 volunteers that give their time each week to the efforts of the VIM Clinic, there is an equally awesome 7 paid staff that are here daily. I’d like to introduce you to these people.
Kelli, Debbie, Allyson, Betty, Heidi, and Ellen Betty Tsarnas, ARNP is our Clinical Director and is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She has been with the Clinic since its inception even preparing it for opening day back in October 1995. Betty is originally from New York and she and her husband, Steve, moved to Stuart over 30 years ago. She was a critical care ICU Registered Nurse for 17 years before obtaining her ARNP degree. Debbie Bray is a Registered Nurse and has been with us for two months. She moved to the area from the great state of Maine. She has been a nurse for 24 years most recently working in a cardiologist’s office in Vero Beach. She enjoys ceramics and is a brand new grandmother. Allyson Perlman is a Registered Nurse and has been with us for five months. She began in December just after her honeymoon. She is also a Health Care Risk Manager. She has been a nurse for 33 years most recently working in a local dermatologist’s office. Allyson is busy raising 3 sons as well and is a volunteer with her church. Ellen Gade is a Patient Service Representative which means she is the person who handles the front office responsibilities. She has been with us one year and moved here from Connecticut with her husband of 24 years. She enjoys singing in her church choir. Heidi Merrill is also a Patient Service Representative and is a native Floridian. She has been with us almost three years and is the other smiling face you see as you enter the Clinic. She enjoys fishing and is a great cook.
Mary Fields Executive Director As you know, my name is Mary Fields. I have been with the Clinic since we opened and moved here with my husband, Dave. I am originally from Maryland. Please feel free to visit the VIM Clinic. I’d be happy to show you our facility and introduce you to everyone.
